The Uintas is a little piece of paradise hidden in the north eastern region of Utah. The stunning scenery is emphasized by the abundant wildlife.
There are countless lakes, trails, and places to explore alone or with whatever size groups.
The more popular areas are around the Mirror Lake Highway near Provo River Falls and Mirror Lake.
The more complex and difficult region of the Uintas is located in the High Wilderness, this area is for outdoor enthusiets and confident hikers.
Options in the High Uintas include Kings Peak and other difficult hikes.
Heading east from Kamas into the Uinta Mountains, through the Wasatch-Cache National Forest
In addition to scenic viewpoints and picnic areas, numerous lakes and campgrounds line this high-mountain byway. Much of the journey parallels the Provo River.
